Flagship-level Ultra-Low EMI design
DDR memory, HDD driver, and other high-radiation, high-speed communication components are fully surface-mounted and soldered in close proximity. Thick aluminum and multi-layer gold-plated PCBs provide comprehensive shielding. The ultra-low noise and EMI design achieves unprecedented quietness, which has been successfully implemented in Hi-Fi systems.
- The industry's first to achieve deep optimization starting from 1.8V for low internal resistance.
1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V all achieve a resistance of ≤5 micro-ohms(100khz) by utilizing reference-grade low internal resistance materials. This represents an industry benchmark with a ≤5 milliohms low internal resistance solution, ensuring ultra-low noise from I/O and power supply, high-frequency bandwidth, and ultra-fast response.
- Reference level independent power supply design, each voltage level is still independently powered
Starting from 1.8V, each power supply is separated as much as possible, with up to 5 channels for the 3.3V LDO HDMI, hard drives, SD, and others are all powered independently. Each USB has its own filtering and independent power circuitry to minimize external noise input as much as possible. The power supply can be as low as 3 milliohms.

An independent CPU with a ±1ppm TCXO high-precision clock system ensures that controllers such as HDMI, PCIe, USB, and SD receive high-precision clock support. Additionally, a luxurious 5 milliohm independent clock power supply system has been adopted, significantly enhancing sound detail and dynamics.

Adopting a second-order filtering and ≤5 milliohm Ultra-Low internal resistance scheme, with an independent dedicated USB Audio interface. By fixing on the rear panel reinforced design, it greatly increases the robustness of the USB port, supporting audiophile-grade USB HIFI cables.

Under conditions where the hard drive is capable of smooth operation with SAW OS3.0 audio-specific and Diretta bridge systems, a fully fixed-frequency ultra-responsive design and a reference-level design with significant margin ensure that during normal DSD512 playback, power consumption is less than 20W. Ultra-Low power consumption and Ultra-Low thermal noise provide the foundation for a reference-level power supply system, which is also a core essential for high-quality sound.

1.8V PCIe controller power supply is deeply optimized, with a ±1ppm TCXO audio clock, providing precise and ultra-low noise audio design for PCIe expansion. The motherboard also supports three USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 expansion ports, as well as a clock and power optimized HDMI output interface.

As a supplementary WIFI module, D1X still adopts a HIFI-grade design. It utilizes a CPU with a high-precision ±1ppm TCXO clock, an independent 3.3V LDO low-noise power supply, a fully shielded WIFI module, and an external antenna design. This reduces WIFI interference to the lowest level and supports soft shutdown within the system.

In addition to the audio-dedicated SAW OS 3.0 system and custom Diretta built into the official SOUNDAWARE products, the official version supports some Audio Linux and the upcoming Win11 LTSC IOT.

SOUNDAWARE has become an official partner of Diretta, and the entire D1X series products support the Diretta Bridge System, bringing out better performance of D1X hardware in bridge or host mode.
A PCIe network card that adopts reference-level design and materials
D1X adopts a high-performance PCIe Gigabit network chip, an independent high-speed, low-jitter network isolation transformer, and a Neutrik high-performance network socket. It utilizes a 7μV ultra-low noise power supply and performs 5 milliohm ultra-low noise internal resistance processing for each power supply of the network card chip, such as 1V, 1.8V, and 3.3V. It employs a ±1ppm TCXO high-precision, low-noise clock system and uses the same limited-edition reference materials as the DAM1 15TH, such as MKP capacitors and silver film capacitors.

10-year maintenance-free silent X86 cooling system
To address the X86 design lifespan of up to 10 years, conventional thermal conductivity solutions typically last only around 5 years, which cannot meet the requirement for 10 years of maintenance-free operation. Extensive applications have been implemented on AM3 and the new D2, making a 10-year maintenance-free silent cooling system achievable. Through a high-performance thermally conductive system with adhesive properties, there is a significant improvement over the industry's general solutions in all aspects.

The D1X adopts the same grounding system and amorphous alloy high-performance filter as the D1. The transformer features a custom-wound A-core made of high-purity OFC, with a fully encapsulated and fully shielded reference-grade toroidal solution. Additionally, the internal key wiring utilizes custom 5U silver-plated wires. The D1X also incorporates a series of reference-grade optimization solutions, including the same custom isolated vibration-damping feet system as the DAM1 15TH.
